At STAR Energy Services, we're looking for a Safety & Compliance Consultant who wants to build a career helping electric utilities create safer workplaces.
In this role, you'll work directly with utility leaders and field personnel to provide safety consulting, regulatory guidance, training, inspections, and compliance support. What You'll Do
Interpret OSHA, NESC, DOT, EPA, MPCA, ANSI, and related safety regulations.
Develop safety programs, compliance plans, and required documentation.
Deliver safety training and coordinate inspections.
Support emergency preparedness and regulatory reporting.
Present recommendations to utility leadership and Boards.
Build trusted relationships by providing practical, responsive consulting services.
Provide onsite consulting and support at client locations.
What You'll Bring
Required
Experience in safety, regulatory compliance, occupational safety, or a related field.
Working knowledge of OSHA and safety principles.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with clients and teammates.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the region.
Preferred
Knowledge of NESC, DOT, EPA, MPCA, or ANSI requirements.
Experience delivering training or presenting to groups.
Electric utility or consulting experience.
