Job Summary:
The Archives Assistant will, with direction from the College Archivist, arrange and describe archival materials to improve researcher access to same and may also contribute to the LCC Archives website. The position will enable the College Archivist to increase the LCC Archives' visibility and focus more on administrative duties and overall intellectual control of archival collections.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.
Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in archives or library work and/or completed coursework in archives, library science and/or related topics.
Current graduate students of an archives program are encouraged to apply.
